Shoot From The Hip, Episode #5
Last Thursday, Kade and I got to spend a special day together. We were just planning to head to the park, but then I thought it would be fun to get him his first camera. Boy, was it fun!
Rather than forking out a bunch of money on a digital camera, I opted for a rather affordable Fuji Instax Mini 8 (see it on Amazon), which is like the old school Polaroid’s.
You turn it on, rotate one dial depending on the type of light you’re under and then take the shot. Moments later, you have an archival print.
When the first photo popped out of the camera, his eyes lit up and I could tell he was hooked…and so was I. We explored the park together, him looking for things to shoot and me soaking it all up.
I hope you enjoy this episode of “Shoot from the Hip” and want to thank each of you who take the time to like and comment…it means the world to me. :)
